Hello!

We've bought 6 TBS-6985 and one TBS-6285 and tried them in these motherboards:

SuperMicro X9SRL-F
Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3
ASUS P9X79 WS
ASUS P9X79-E WS

And no success to get them working! The cards are simply not detected - no info in lspci. Only one card in legacy PCIe-2.0 slot was detected. Tried all possible settings in BIOS, jumpers, etc. Now our cards are useless and expensive peace of plastic, no idea what to do with them now.

Other people had similar problems with other motherboards:
viewtopic.php?f=142&t=8834 (X9SRI-F)
http://supermicro.com/support/faqs/faq.cfm?faq=18095 (X9DRX+-F)

In the last topic Supermicro says it's "due to card firmware not being able to detect pcie slot lane/polarity inversion".

Please be aware of buying these cards if you plan to use more than one of them in modern motherboards.

Hi vladd

First sorry for the inconvenience and for this problem we already find the solution. We have
made a new hardware version which added some chip to let our card more compatible.

So just write email to our support#tbsdtv.com ,we will help you replace the new version. :)

Thanks

Kind Regards

steven
