Discontent with Matrix TV ARM

I've been looking at websites with information on several Freescale platforms and observe that ubuntu versions, both version 11.10 as 12.04 are bad optimized and developed. As might lancenn a product with an incredibly good hardware and a bad support.

In the version of Ubuntu 12.04 the matrix tv, there failures and crashes and the graphics driver is not included, only in version 11.10.

I'm not very satisfied with the Matrix TV, and is not the hardware, it's software (operating systems).

Look at the link I include them and see the possibilities for freescale imx6.

I'm starting to think like you. I'm a bit frustrated. None of the OS included can take fully advantage of the HW included in the Matrix 2906. It's a bit dissapointing...

I purchased Matrix TV because a didn't want to be constrained with my RaspBerry Pi HW, but now I feel even more limited.

I hope the software will improve with time...
