DVBlast output not arriving at client machine

I am trying to stream some DVB-C channels from my MOI Pro - AMD using the DVBlast program. So far no luck.

I managed to stream the same channels using the TVHeadend option. On my client machine I put http://192.168.20.11:9981/playlist into VLC and it worked as expected.

I have followed the DVBlast instructions on page 7 of MOI_Pro_AMD_Get_Started_Guide_V1.0.0.2.pdf and the channel I want to stream is assigned an IP address of 239.255.0.1 by DVBlast. I put both udp://@239.255.0.1:1234 and rtp://239.255.0.1:1234 into my client VLC program but neither works.

Any ideas?

Maybe this will help. If you have a wifi card, VLC will use the first IP in the stack. You need to prioritize the NIC where you are receiving the multicast (LAN I presume).

On another note, multicast might not work properly in household routers. Wifi would be even worst case scenario.
