scan-s2 tool with yavdr

I am really struggling to make manual scan using scan-s2 tool and yavdr. My DVB card tuners are recognized and I have installed the scan-s2 tool in the path /usr/local/bin. When I run the command scan-s2 -a 0 astra_scan-s2.conf always tuning failed.
I used this option to locate the lnb position in a diseqc: scan-s2 -a 0 -s(S) 2 astra_scan.conf but no luck as well. Anybody help me please!!!
