v150130 driver install help

Postby darthchicken » Thu Feb 26, 2015 5:18 pm

Hi
I am having trouble trying to get the latest driver working, v150130 for TBS5922 :cry:
It all appears to be installed ok however, I am missing the firmware :?
It does not appear to be included in the linux-tbs-drivers_150130.tar.bz2 file
I have read the INSTALL document which wasn't very helpful so I have installed the same way as the previous drivers as follows:

tar xjvf linux-tbs-drivers_150130.tar.bz2
cd linux-tbs-drivers
sudo ./v4l/tbs-x86_64.sh
sudo make
sudo rm -rf /lib/modules/3.13.0-35-generic/kernel/drivers/media
sudo make install

$ dmesg | grep 5922
[ 1.468578] usb 3-1: New USB device found, idVendor=734c, idProduct=5922
[ 2.132133] dvb-usb: did not find the firmware file. (dvb-usb-tbsqbox-id5922.fw) Please see linux/Documentation/dvb/ for more details on firmware-problems. (-2)

yes, I could do that however, this file is not included in the v150130 package.
I was under the impression that you don't need firmware for the latest driver?
