Mythtv - "Max Recordings"

Hello,

I have some questions about the TBS6284 PCI-E DVB-T2 Quad TV Tuner Card. It looks like the perfect solution for my setup.

First, does the linux driver for the TBS6284 support the "Max Recordings" Mythtv feature for dvb-t? Using my old cx88/saa7134 cards I set "Max Recordings" to 5 so I can record up to five different channels on the same transport/frequency through a single tuner. But, the Mythtv help text says this feature depends on the particular card driver.

The "Max Recordings" feature is at Mythtv backend setup -> Capture Cards -> [Choose card] -> Recording Options.

Second, is the driver for this card going to go into the mainline kernel?

Third, what sort of signal strength is needed?

Fourth, are there any retailers in Sydney Australia that sell these cards? Or, where can I buy this online?

Many thanks for any help,
Ben
