Signal strength/Quality

This is actually for the TBS 5281.
The device reports Strength:0 Quality:90 Locked:1 on every channel, whether there is a broadcast on the channel or not.
Using driver 1.0.0.1.

Can someone at TBS answer what the proper calls to the driver are to get ths signal strength and quality?

I have just received the same usb card. It installed ok. I can find channels in mce but on viewing any channel it fails to show anything because of weak signal.
it works in dvbviewer.

drivers for this model (unlike all the pcie cards) have not been updated since windows 7. PCIE models seem to have had an update for windows 8 and some mention a signal strength issue.


support guidance was to use dvbviewer as mce is difficult. Very strange as I have used many cards with MCE without any problems (multiple black gold and WinTV nova).
it would seem support for this card and mce is limited.

This is a screenshot of the scan window of the oem dvbdream 2.6 p3 from the tbs download page. I scanned a frequency with no signal. Yet level and quality of 90% are reported and also that the signal is locked (lower left). This happens for every frequency whether it has signal or not.

We are sorry for that,this is a bug.We will fix it .if you never mind,please use the current version driver for a while.
