If you are using the TBS version of DVBViewer - TBSViewer, you now have more options, because the TBS version of DVBDream and ProgDVB are also available ;) , and they support DVB-T2 Multi PLP for TBS cards

Hi

What's the difference of the TBS version of the ProgDVB and the standard free version of ProgDVB? I mean, since the TBS version does not support recordings and other functions like diseqc, PIP (only the paid Pro version does), why is it there in the fist place? The Standard version of ProgDVB is exactly the same thing and without those functions is almost useless...

Similar to the latest TBSViewer, I have just tried and uninstalled this version of DVBDream 22d as it still does not support Picture In Picture (PIP).

I don't understand why TBS make and sell dual and quad tuners and then let customers down by providing only a single tuner / channel software? It is like making a car and selling it with 2 wheels instead of 4!

Come on TBS - why not provide software to support the dual and quad tuner hardware that you sell? If customers buy a dual or quad tuner, I would expect software to allow me to make use of the tuners...

wow I bought the 6925 and other then drivers, there was no software provided at all. And was 100% ok with that. maybe Im different, but I expect my hardware to only come with drivers, and not software. Ive actually never bought a piece of hardware that came with any software.

video card only has drivers, sound card only has drivers. my cnc mill and controller didnt come with any software.none of my Prof dvb cards nor my genpix dvb card came with any software. Maybe its a Linux thing, but I never would have expected any software with hardware I buy.

Hi all, I bought the 6925 and received it last week. Today I build a new PC with winXP and install the card. All fine and working.

I look at the CD that come with the card and verified the version and dnload the latest one and installed.

All seem to be ok, but when I try to use DVBDream from this site, I cannot scan unless I buy the full version from DVBDream site... that have only the v22b not v22d.

Since your saying that version is modified for TBS cards.... So I don’t understand why I have to buy a version that might not have the proper setting for my card or options.

For me that is useless and since I cannot even try to get any signal... I guess you're working for nothing.

TBSViewer is not better either, it was working just before I install DVBDream … now it say that the card is not active... another one to delete …

I tried Crazyscan and it work great, got to test it and found 28 transponders on horizontal …
That is the only thing working but I cannot see any channel that is just for testing.

Is here any version that I can really see and buy a version that I like instead of tries that don’t work?

The card works for that I’m happy :) , but no software to use, that is bad. :?

Hope that help someone.

Richard.

Usual modern PC DVB devices shipped with drivers and some OEM DTV soft with restricted features. Often shipped some OEM DVBViewer (without plugins support and work only with vendor hardware). Last time available 'restricted' OEM DVBViewer - http://www.dvbdream.org/oem.php
Now ProgDVB TBS OEM is usual standard build ProgDVB - http://www.progdvb.com/download_progdvb.html (no diseqc, PIP, record support).

P.S. Better buy modern PC DVB hardware with stable drivers and wide soft support. And next install more suitable soft (linux/windows, free- or payware).
P.P.S. If you want hardware+soft from box - buy STB :)

Hi all

Thanks very much for crazycat's explanation ,Because DVB's player soft all most is not a free soft,Our OEM's soft
is just want to let it support our new cards and new interface as soon as possible. The normal use should be ok,
And we will try our best to let our OEM version have more function,
please support the DVB's player soft too,so they can make a better DVB's player. :)

Kind Regards
