Re: Good signal but cannot obtain lock

Did you try these steps( I am not a tbs agent; maybe they have vanished)

1- Using both LNB! and LNB2 at the same time?
2-Using the power cable the comes inside the box?

Hope you solve your problem and if not then return it back to them as the support of tbs products is poor.

Re: kernel 3.0.0.1 on debian wheezy(testing)

I am not happy with the tbs linux driver development. They should make their drivers part of linux kernel just like other manufacturers do, Period. We are always lagging behind the latest kernel for 1-2 months and when it eventually comes a new kernel is released so actually we are never in sync wit...

kernel 3.0.0.1 on debian wheezy(testing)

Can we expect a release for this kernel soon? Not integrating the driver in linux kernel is really making our life difficult! :(

Re: How to install TBS6981 on Linux Ubuntu 11.04 ?

Hi,

I don't perform this step yet the driver works just fine after reboot:

11. Install the firmware
cd /path/to/driver/
cp v4l-cx23885-######.fw /lib/firmware

Does this step really have a benefit, like for example, TBS driver won't need reinstall after kernel upgrades?

Regards,

Sami

Re: TBS drivers break LIRC

So why TBS does not make two versions of their Linux drivers, that is to say, one with THEIR remote control support and another without their remote control support, so people who use other remote hardwares don't have this problem. Now I have exactly this problem, my tbs remote is damaged and I don'...
