Re: TBS6921 problems

@pjm, From what I understand, your switch is called "DP44 or Dish Pro" and it is not using voltage to control high/low band but rather 22 kHz tone (or maybe it should be called "Tone burst mode"). DVBViewer doesn't seem to have an easy option to control this setting but I think t...

Re: TBS6921 problems

@pjm, jw300 is right, there should be no need to explicitly set 22kHz for the multiswitch, it is just used for switching between hi- and low-band which I believe is done automatically for most of the available software/hardware receivers on the market. You just connect the four outputs (VL,HL,VH,HH)...

Re: channel change duration problem

You can try downloading v3.6.0 from here - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JNDTIYH3
It is not the latest, but it'll do the work.

Re: TBS 6921 release date

noted and it will be done. however, in a little different way than you suggested, because no all LNB have hi-band and/or understand 22 kHz tone. so, polarity will be automatic (with way to select manual mode) and include check-box "do subsequent scan with 22 kHz on" to indicate after scan...

Re: TBS 6921 release date

issue 01) 22 kHz tone is not switched ON (i.e. no high-band blind scan is possible) issue 02) it seems sometimes at least on 6921 after blind-scan the card is in consistent state and can't be used to get successful lock without restart issue 03) (to be investigated after all other issues are fixed,...

Re: TBS 6921 release date

@BluetoothBG, The confusion was in fact caused by your setup. You've tried to scan high band transponders (22KHz on). The 850MHz correction frequency (see my table) is just the difference between the LOFs (10600-9750) ;) Dunno whether it's a bug of the tool or the driver but high band blind scan fa...

Re: TBS 6921 release date

This post is mainly a reply to Geezerjem post in his topic but due to Cody's request I post it here: Hi Geezerjem, This evening I had a little more time to play with the card and the BS Tool, and now I see some difference from your results - in the LOW band there is no need to convert the BS Frequen...

Re: New 8921 owner's progress, need help....

Thank you for the constant value, Geezerjem!

I also noticed that after clean scan (22kHz ON) the card is not usable (mine is TBS6921) and only a reboot helps.

Re: TBS 6921 release date

@starman345: You're welcome! Clicking on the "Output Channel Info" button brings up a "Save file as..." dialog which outputs the file on the second screenshot. In his topic Geezerjem has found a constant which helps turning the BS results into a real frequency, but they are still...
