I made a backup of /usr/include/linux/dvb/version.h and replaced it with the copy from the TBS driver package, made a make distclean and rebuild the new w_scan as you indicated. This version now reports "built for API 5.3". But still no services found: [email protected]...

Unfortunately, no change.
