I tried connecting my TBS5990 to MOI+ today. Not yet, unfortunately. As for splitter ( http://www.microsatacables.com/pci-e-ex ... h-usb-3-0/ ) it works fine on PC with 4 TBS6904 (16 total transponders), I was just curious, if I could manage the same with cheaper MOI+.

Well, it's not 2, more like 4 cards. It seems a bit of waste of CPU, when you look at "top" - 5-6% per transponder. And - its a pure scientific interest. I contacted support and they are looking into this. It seems like this limitation is not intentional, more like unexpected side-effect.

One more thing - on some servers (mainly HP) you should switch PCIe to x1 mode and ensure, that proper voltage is supplied, either from PCEe settings, or by connecting ATX power directly to TBS card.
