Re: TBS5925 supported in OpenPLI and SatDreamGr image

I think what we really need is something that was designed for the TBS products. This is probably the only way to get the Excellent TBS hardware blindscan. What about scan-s2 and szaps2? These items are located in the TBS linux driver folder. I do not have the skill needed to install these items in a...

Re: TBS5925 supported in OpenPLI and SatDreamGr image

Agreed.
I loaded an experimental E2 image that has W_Scan and it cannot scan the TBS devises correctly. Would expect similar results using blindscan-s2.

Re: TBS5925 supported in OpenPLI and SatDreamGr image

Excellent! How hard would it be to add "blindscan-s2" or "W_scan" to a SatDreamGrTest image? This is something I am not capable of doing. Probably the best first step in building or modifying an existing blindscan plugin would be to get the blindscan working in console using simp...

Re: enigma2 drivers

Success with OpenPLi! TBS5925 support has been added to a test image based on OpenPLi that I have installed on a Vu+ Duo2 receiver. The TBS5925 is a wonderful addition to the Duo2 enigma2 receiver, and I now have the 16APSK and 32APSK modulations. Are there any ideas as to how I might add blindscan ...

Re: Matrix TV Bugs and Issues

The DVB-S2 8PSK problem in the Matrix also exists in the AzBox Premium Plus. The Dvb-S2 *8psk problem does not exist in most of my other fta receivers made after 2012. The bit rate is pretty high for these DVB-S2 8PSK channels, and it just looks like it is more information than Matrix TV can process...

Re: Matrix TV Bugs and Issues

Updating the transponder list does not do much good because a lot of fta transponder information is not widely published. Usually when the transponder information is published, it is outdated. this is why blindscan is important in North America. Matrix TV has issues scanning or logging multiple radi...

Re: Matrix TV Bugs and Issues

I paid over $400.00 U.S. for the Matrix(TBS2910) and the TBS5925. I am very dissatisfied with this combination of products. The Matrix was advertised to be compatible with the TBS5925 in MatrixTV and in Ubuntu. Matrix TV has allowed me to view a couple of FTA channels using the TBS5925, but for the ...

Re: Matrix TV Bugs and Issues

Thanks for the reply. I have tried enabling VDR and also Tvheadend. I will attempt to access the 9981 ip next. Where in the files system is the channels.conf list located? I would like to try and edit it if possible, or at least try to read it. Where is the satellite list located? There is a definit...
