Does the Phoenix reader fit into 3.5" bay?
Are there any plans to make CI extensions either for PCIe or 3.5"/5.25" bays?
Having something lying around connected with a cable is not a good option for HTPC.

Using CI from one card with another card

I've got a 6983 card. If I add 6290 to my PC will I be able to use it's CI slot for 6983?
If not, what are the other options?
I don't want to have anything attached with a cable outside my PC case.

Thank you for the answer. That's OK then. But is it safe for the hard drive? Do I always need to have power plug connected or is it only for motor dishes? (I use diseqc) I haven't got such connector on my PSU and the adaptor is for an old molex. I would have to get an adaptor from SATA type connecto...

Missing metal cover on tuner chip

Hi,
I have received my 6983 card from buydvb and it's missing the metal cover over the tuner chip.
On every photo I've seen online they were on.
Is it just mine?
It's V20
