today I retried a scan but the same result. Good signal for about 5 minutes and then the signal gets lost.

Would this be a broken card or something in the setup?

In my case I have a 5/8 multiswitch and I use two of the 8 as input to the stacker. IMHO the stacker/ destacker should not affect the TBS card, but currently it doesn't work using the TBS 6981 card. The signal get's lost after a while. But a stand alone receiver doesn't take care about the stacker a...

no, its a hardware tool, which allows to put two signals on one wire and split this again into two wires.

In detail:
* Two LNB signals/ wires
* Stacker puts two signals in one wire
* Destacker splits the signals into two wires again

tbs 6981 broken?

according to this post https://shop.tbsdtv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=193 I had been able to get more details about the problem. It seems that the card lost's the signal after some time. In detail: I connected a stand a lone receiver to the cable and had a good signal with all channel I need....
