Re: TBS6922 not sending VBox commands

I'm glad that worked for you. I don't have the 6922 so can't say what driver, the latest is usually the best. I believe that card is a pci-e? On most motherboards you can change the mode of the card slot in the bios...not sure that would have anything to do with your install-uninstall-reinstall of t...

Re: TBS6922 not sending VBox commands

its been a while since I used Dvbdream but it seems to me after you input the positioner # in the box and click store, you then need to click "modify" in the upper right corner and the positioner # will then appear by the satellite, after that if should work.

Re: 6925 & windows 8.1

I pulled the 6925 card and it is a 2.3 version. My pci-e bios options are x1 x4 or auto, it was set to auto on install so I just left it, it seems to work okay there. Not sure what else to tell you, the mb is an Asus P8 Z77-V Pro. I'm using the 1.0.1.20 driver for 64 bit.

Re: 6925 & windows 8.1

I have a 6925 and run it with Windows 8.1 64 bit. No problems that I've noticed. I don't know what version the card is, I bought it a couple of years ago. Have you tried playing with the pci-e settings in your motherboard bios? On my Asus mb the modes can be changed. I've read those settings can aff...

Re: Motor does not move

If the DiSEqC 1.2 positioner is accepting commands...which it does with your set top box, and your USB receiver is sending DiSEqC commands which you say it is by switching your DiSEqC switch then there is something wrong. Are you sure Your DiSEqC switch is switching ? How did you test it? DvbDream a...

Re: Motor does not move

This is an odd situation. I have a very similar setup, I use Dvbviewer mostly with TransEdit and EBS Pro and I'm using Win 8.1 64 bit. My cards are pci and pci-e not USB. They all work with my Gbox II 3000 DiSEqC 1.2 positioner which I think is very similar to your Vbox II. I wonder if the TBS USB d...

Re: TBS8922 Crashes Windows XP, SP3

Glad you got the 7301 working, too bad on the 8922 though, since your thread I"ve been looking around here and elsewhere and it seems you are not the only 8922 owner having problems with installing it.

Re: TBS8922 Crashes Windows XP, SP3

You've certainly gone the extra mile to try to resolve this 8922 problem. I would send a note to support@tbsdtv.com with a link to this thread and ask for an exchange. Even though the card is sort of working in Windows 8 it doesn't sound like its working like it should. I have the same card and have...

Re: Is the TBS8922 incompatible with VIA chipsets?

Ok, I would just return it, its useless that way. The reason I asked is because another gentleman over on Satforums seems to have the same problem with his new 8922. The system hangs on the tbs8922.sys install. Its strange TBS isn't interested in helping, they are usually quite responsive. If you ar...
