I am using the Blind Scan tool with the 5921 (qbox III) and have the same issue.
Diseqc switching does not appear to work with the tool. Switching works fine with DVBdream, and Smart DVB.
The Blind Scan tool will work if I bypass the switch and connect the LNB directly to the QBox.

If the 6921 and 8921 do not work, then yes it is identical. I have attempted to use the blind scan tool (both versions, the one on the disk and the updated one from the website)on two different dishes, one with a Cband LNB and the other with two different standard LNBs, a universal LNB, and finally ...

What do you expect to find? If the tool is working, you'll only find what you already know: wideband transponder on DBS satellites ;) For transponders and channels that are hot 24/7, it's not a problem as most programs have up to date TP lists.
