Should we rather insert a resistor to diminuish the speed? If yes, what is the current resistance of the fan used, so that i can compute what to insert?

I received my tbs5927 and installed driver on ubuntu 17, it is working fine. However, the fan is blowing fast and noisy, is there a way to diminish that noise?
