Re: when, where i buy 6925 card

Hi Sorry for let you wait so long time, tbs 6925 is on the last test! :) We will try our best to give our customers a wonderful card. :D A wonderful card maybe, but how can the customers make use of the additional features like APSK and MIS in particular? A standard tuning request contains carrier f...

Re: Poor Performance

@cody, why don't you simply admit that your algorithm is badly designed? There are 3 carriers with identical modulation parameters within the auto-frequency acquisition range. Your algo thinks that the wanted carrier is found on X-2 or X+2 and stops there without evaluating the correct one in the ce...

Re: Poor Performance

in any case if frequency re-centering is on then the measured frequency offset is not the real frequency offset measured as offset from the frequency sent as part of the tune request, which then unfortunately doesn't rule out frequency offset in your environment . I don't understand what you're say...

Re: Poor Performance

i can't quite agree with this: Here's how it should look like (TeVii) It also shows that the TBS hits are not even on neighbour transponders. The correct order of channel names is: PAYAM TV, AL-FORAT, BELADI TV) or more specifically why you think transponder frequencies on which your TBS 8921 card ...

Re: Poor Performance

..considering the possibility there is some frequency offset in your environment. .....cut the crap. Of course there will be a measurable offset in my environment but how can it be possible that the offset is +2982 kHz and at the same time -2596 kHz in a small band of less than 10MHz? I have also 2...

Re: Poor Performance

Ok, I've installed the debug driver and Dbgview. Works like a charme :) After fiddling with different satellites and transponders I managed to put together a suitable test environment. As long as a narrow band carrier is located in an empty spectrum, the frontend will lock eventually. The frequency ...

Re: Poor Performance

Thanks @Cody, I will test it tomorrow. But for a change here's a positive result with the current driver :) On 1W there's a polish radio packet on a very narrow band carrier. DVB-S2, 1005, 8psk, 3/4 (the modulation parameters are calculated backwards from the mux rate) With the TBS 8921 I have absol...

Re: TBS 6921 release date

What do you expect to find? If the tool is working, you'll only find what you already know: wideband transponder on DBS satellites ;)

Re: My TBS 8921 has arrived

Thank you, with this source.dll TSRreader is sending correct diseqc commands :) Though, there are some points that still need improvement. Tuning and locking of high band frequencies takes about 15s! The reason is that at the 1st attempt no tone is applied -> failed to lock signal. After retuning a ...
