Re: Infuriating! Please help!

You are not so smart are you? when did i ask for Windows drivers for Netup card? i have used *NIX systems for 15 years and i prefer Linux over Windows. You are funny saying no drivers for Windows is a limitation, why shoud i use Windows when i can do the same thing better in Linux? So why di...

Re: Infuriating! Please help!

My PC PSU is not low rated so there should be plenty power! PSU is one thing & max. power output at LNB connector is other thing. When You look at back of Your Openbox S11 at LNB input there is probably written something like "LNB IN 13/18V 500mA max". Every DVB receiver/DVB card got ...

Re: Infuriating! Please help!

Likvid: Do You know how badly did You now made funny of Yourself? Look at this: Does NetUp work with CrazyScan? No. Does NetUp have blindscan on Windows? No. Does NetUp support Windows? In fact - no, there is only buggy beta driver at github done 6 months ago. No further support. Some fixes were don...

Re: Infuriating! Please help!

MajicM: I'm afraid this is not driver issue in Your case. You got BSOD when trying to move dish. This can happen in fact in just only one case: power consumption is too high. TBS 6925 can provide ~400 mA at peak. If motor+LNB will gave higher summary power consumption at the moment - card will fail ...

Re: Buggy drivers

I'm using 6925 with 1.0.1.13 drivers with SmartDVB, DVB Viewet/TransEdit, AltDVB, ProgDVB, TSReader, CrazyScan/BLScan, EBS, TBS_BlindScan and probably some others and I did not saw such things. Few months ago there was bug in SmartDVB which could hang card, but it is fixed now. For DVB Dream You can...

Re: No Very Low SR Lock with latest Drivers

VLSR carriers are still lockable with 1.0.1.11 drivers - look at sotos65 screenshot with 331 KS/s SR. Speed: differences in CrazyScan between 1.0.1.7 and 1.0.1.11 are gigantic at that is my point. Spectrum analyzer works much faster, every lock of IQScan is faster and also any relock between any two...

Re: No Very Low SR Lock with latest Drivers

But I'm not from TBS - that's my private opinion as user. If card must work nearly two times slower (!) just to give ability to BS few low SR transmissions of radio channels - it is just not worth that (as these transmissions still can be received, just maybe not blindscanned). If any future drivers...

Re: No Very Low SR Lock with latest Drivers

About signal increase: In fact there were no changes in signal between any driver version. Look at CrazyScan - I got with both 1.0.1.7 and 1.0.1.11 in CrazyScan the same levels of RF Level & Signal/Noise.Percent values that You are seeing in AltDVB or any other DVB app are just counted in other ...

Re: driver 1.0.1.9 errors

That is not error. If transponder use Transport Stream not Generic Stream, You cannot lock it as Generic Stream, because it is not Generic Stream (if lock would be present - that would be error). One transponder cannot be TS and GS at the same time.
