Re: New Desgined TBSViewer is ready now....

High-Definition Channels in Grid EPG I have 46 TV channels in my favourites list, of which 4 are high-definition channels (DVB-T2). However, the EPG shows only 44 channels -- 2 of the high-def channels are missing ("BBC1 HD" and "ITV1 HD"). Furthermore, the EPG for the 2 high-de...

Yes, the TV programmes in the Freeview DVB-T2 MUX in the UK are not encoded and can be watched without restriction, but the EPG transmitted in the DVB-T2 MUX is encoded (at least, that is my understanding).

Re: Random "Flashing" on DVB-T2 in UK

Some discussions on another forum indicated that the problem might be caused by the Nvidia drivers. I was using version 301.42 (WHQL certified), so I downloaded and installed version 304.79 (a beta version), and this seems to have fixed the problem. Panic over!

Random "Flashing" on DVB-T2 in UK

At the moment I have a single TBS 6284 quad-tuner card in my HTPC. It is a fresh install of Windows 7, with all maintenance applied. I am using version 1.0.0.3 of the TBS driver, and watching TV using Windows Media Center. The graphics card is an Nvidia 8400GS, and the drivers are version 301.42 (th...

Re: WMC will not scan HD channels

I have two TBS 6284 cards in my HTPC. I cannot see anything wrong with what you have done. But a couple of points: I have reset windows media centre: http://www.hack7mc.com/2009/09/clearing-guide-data-and-tuner-setup-from-windows-7-media-center.html I am not entirely convinced that this procedure re...

Re: TBS 6220 card not recognised by PC

I'm not sure how to erase the Goldfinger on a TBS6220 card. Could you supply more information please? I think that Steven is suggesting that one or more of the gold contacts at the edge of the card may be dirty, and preventing a good electrical contact with the PCI-E socket. If I remember correctly...

Wrong Version Date For 1.0.0.3 Driver

I have just installed the new version 1.0.0.3 driver, and I noticed that the driver version date contained in the INF file appears to be incorrect. The INF file contains "04/16/2011", which is earlier than the version date for the 1.0.0.2 driver ("11/10/2011"). The date of the &q...
