A new version of the DVBViewer Recording Service is out (V1.10). On a first quick test it seems to have fixed the problem. I'll report in detail as soon i've tested it more thoroughly.

It's an awful and long wait for the new release of the DVBViewer. Although the TBS 9628 works perfectly with MediaPortal, i miss the excellent web-interface, the UPNP server, the great performance of the DVBViewer.

It took a while but one of the DVDViewer developers (Lars) wrote. They are planning a workaround for the next release of the DVBViewer and Recording Service. Instead of opening the DLL globally once, they would call the DLL with each tune command anew. Since this will result in a tiny lag in overall...

I'm very pleased with the support here. Added to the fact that the TBS 6928 is by far the best DVB hardware with CI Support out there, a quick an responsive support makes it a no-brain-er to recommend.

I've tested the new version, and did a full channel scan. Where i had problems before ("No Signal" on many transponders) the new driver succeeded. I also tested the general functionality and the new driver worked quite well. I'll keep it and will report if i can find any errors. But so far...

May i suggest a twitter channel in which you announce new driver releases. Your current Twitter-Feed is primarely used for marketing purposes.

It's important to note that MediaPortal doesn't support the TBS CI right "out of the box". You need to patch a few files to make it work. But i can report that it works flawlessly with MP 1.2.2 (it should work with 1.2.3 too). Here is the link: http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/tbs...
