The saa7160 used in many tbs cards only support pcie 1.0 so only option is to move to another interface ic.

They should... The PCI spec should always be backward compatible.

I don't know anything about decryption, it's not used here in NA.

I've never used mumudvb but I believe it supports unicast

How many channels doesn't matter. Demod specs say 30msps in dvb-s2 and 45msps in dvb-s. How many channels is on that transponder is up to the provider. Could be 50 or could be 1.

If you tune 4 tp with 50 channels each, then you could steam 200 channels.

this seriously needs to be a sticky as it comes up at least once a week. "disagrees about version of symbol" means that you have a mix of old and new kernel modules in the same folder. This wont work, delete the entire media kernel modules folder sudo rm -R /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/...

This has been covered here many times, disagrees about symbol means that old drivers are mixed with new ones. Delete your media kernel modules folder and reinstall.
