Crazycat posted some patches. I have them applied to my tree but haven't been able to test them fully. I believe though the problem isn't with mis but with continuous and generic stream vs ts stream

Most linux dvb drivers report ber as the number of errors reported per second. Not the ratio of error's to total packets. Many linux dvb drivers dont have unc implemented so always report 0. I don't do pay tv so I don't know.com I know there are a lot of different card servers for Linux out there, depends on what card you have on what card server you use

Picture quality should have no effect from the driver or card as the deciding I'd done by a user land application

I can't comment in the rest as I don't own that card or any dvb-t card, NA doesn't have any dvb-t

All decoding of video, no matter the type, is done on the computer no matter the card.

The 6925/5925 can do acm/vcm as well as mis, the audio video format had nothing to-do with the card
