I gave up, wasnt worth the time.

I now flash by booting to an SD card then writing the eMMC from there. or just boot by tftp, its super fast if your going to be making alot of changes.

Trust me, you'll want a skywalker-1/2

dont waste your time/money with anything else. Its the only one that really supported.

Even if you managed to make some funky connector and built a usb interface for it, you'd still need to write drivers.

None do. The Skywalker-1/2 is what you'd want for that.

I wouldnt be surprised if half those tp are turbo-fec (ie only the skywalker can tune them)
