Re: DO NOT Purchase Matrix ARM mini PC

My only purpose of the TBS2910 was to test its hardware encoders. imx6q is a really cool platform. But I understand some of the users frustration. You're expecting something powerfull, being a quad-core and all. And all they manage is a 3.0.35 kernel, with way older packages. I know in terms of deve...

Re: ffmpeg and speed of streams

1) Why do you want ffmpeg in it? You can cross compile ffmpeg and load it in the system. Perhaps the most straightforward solution. Otherwise you will have to build an uimage just for your needs. AFAIK Matrix TV OS is based on this project: http://sourceforge.net/projects/openpctv/ With the official...

Re: Maximum ethernet throughput

Hi,

VLC was playing the same channel all along, hence my question.

The thread you were talking about is the "How many channels"

I'll try and see if there are no other bottlenecks on my network.

Maximum ethernet throughput

Has anyone tested the maximum throughput of the Moi Pro? I'm having some discontinuities when I stream 30Mbits just from one tuner. And that's one in 8 working. If I stream just 12Mbits, basically half of the tuner channels, everything plays ok. dvblast output is clean in the console, but VLC gets a...

Re: Reception of 4K transmission

Hi wirek, Try dvblast instead and use unicast adresss instead of a UDP multicast address. For example: MOI Pro: 192.168.1.200 Your PC: 192.168.1.100 udp:[email protected].168.1.100:1234 would be your unicast stream Streaming using UDP will remove all RTP overhead and you are supposed to get a clean stream. dvb...

Re: tbs2910-Debian Sid from scratch support

Last time I posted an issue on Github, l3iggs told me he was moving to some other place and his stuff was in a box container somewhere in the middle of the ocean. It might be a while before l3iggs is actually available to help you out :P I wasn't even able to push the u-boot into ram while in burn m...

Re: Transcoding

The examples on the Freescale are the best reference you could get for the TBS2910. https://community.freescale.com/docs/DOC-93448 * There is a limit for the number of pipelines which can be run simultaneously, for high resolution input files, at most two for 1080p and four for 720p. Re: TBS drivers breaks other drivers

If you end up doing this I would be interested in having a look. I managed to had Mygica and an ImpactVCBe but it's not perfect. There are a lot of v4l2 features that seem to be broken :D.
