Re: 6925 & windows 8.1

I have now noticed that when scanning with my 6925 I get a different FEC to what my receivers get. Does this give a clue as to what my problem is? I am still waiting for a reply from admin / support. Is TBS now dead? At the moment it is extremely unlikely that I will be purchasing another TBS produc...

Re: 6925 & windows 8.1

Still no response??????? Is there any support anymore? I am having to uninstall my 6925 card frequently including the driver and then reinstall or the card does not function correctly. I ask again, Is there a known problem with Revision v2.3 cards and some motherboards? I have been told there is by ...

Re: 6925 & windows 8.1

Exactly the same thing has happened tonight.

So what is the problem with this card?

I am beginning to regret ever purchasing it.

No response from a TBS rep yet!

Re: 6925 & windows 8.1

I have been told by a number of people that they are aware of a problem with TBS 6925 V2.23 cards and some motherboards. Any truth in this? My motherboard is an ABIT IP35 Pro XE. My card works normally for a few weeks then begins to struggle and I always have to remove and replace the card and it wi...

6925 & windows 8.1

Is the 6925 compatible with windows 8.1 64 bit?

Reason I ask is that it does work but the card frequently stops working (cannot be detected) and I have to physically remove the card from the computer and then replace it. the card will then work normally until the next time.

Any explanation why?

Re: Advice needed please from support

I never thought of that! Very silly of me as I do have another two computers I could try that in. Anyway, at the moment it is working again. I took the card out of my computer and then re-inserted it and so far, it is working. Only did it a few minutes ago, so I will see how long it lasts. I hope it...

Re: Advice needed please from support

Yes, I have restarted my PC several times. The card is showing in 'device manager' but no DVB program can see the card.

I shall remove the card later today and reinstall and see if that does anything.

Advice needed please from support

My 6925 card which is a replacement for a card that lost the ability to find S2 transmissions, today whilst scanning a satellite using DVB Dream suddenly froze and I had an error and my computer crashed. It was some sort of exception for tbs6925_64.sys. Since then, no matter what I do, no DVB progra...

Re: Problems with DVBS2 signals.

I had to email a copy of my original purchase receipt and then had to send the original card back to them in France before they replaced my faulty card, but the process was quite quick.
