I don't know if you know what I mean ... its hard to explain it. I know what you mean, I'm havung tghs too.. The refresh rate is still fine, but there are many frames drops. mostely if there was some bad frame, it stutters. Additional to that are the Vivante drivers not perfect so this can take som...

you're wellcome, and yes I'm using the latest dev tree, with new features for video settings, however some of them are stil not working so good as before (eg. deinterlacing)

Updated fresh build. (not tested yet)

I updated the Kernel build with the Kernel option mentioned before.
But there are following restrictions: WiFi is not working, no TBS DVB Drivers.

You may try this from the console. (taken from [email protected] forum) check supportet resolutions.. cat /sys/class/graphics/fb0/modes and dynamically change it with, e.g. echo 1 > /sys/class/graphics/fb0/blank echo U:1280x720p-60 > /sys/class/graphics/fb0/mode echo 0 > /sys/class/graphics/fb0/blank

Yes, the shutdown in XBMC was broken. The latest versions does work again, but there are other things which needs to be fixed... ist still in dev, so wei have to wait :-)

Here is new xbmc build from new fork, closing to be merged to the main tree. Therefore I renamed the version from alpha to beta. some new stuff from wolfgar (improvement foe 1080i) here

@diabloss I have allready answeredn in prevous posts, to build new kernel version needs a lot of testing and patching and I don't have that time right now. The tvheadend I will check l8er than.

Nope, I'm not interessted in openElec anymore, since I can compile anything I will. When the status of xbmc and VPU/IPU of imx6 will be more stable, it will be nice feature, but now I like the frequent updates where I can decide, what to use :-)
