Re: Openelec for MatrixTBS

The u-boot installed by OpenElec release will check every sd/mmc from 0 to 2. If present it will load kernel, system and dtb from partition 1. The kernel will use the first available sd as mmcblk0. That means if you put an sd-card with OpenElec layout into MatrixTv it will boot from it! Which is goo...

Re: Openelec for MatrixTBS

Hello, many thanks for the work you all put into the tbs2910. I just installed 'OpenELEC-iMX6.arm-devel-20140914113348-r19210-g2d9c62b-Gotham-shutdown-spdif.tar' on my v1.3 box and found four issues. 1. Kernel message buffer is filled with messages like 'INFO: rcu_sched self-detected stall on CPU { ...

Re: How to boot from MicroSD/SD slot (?) - Ubuntu 13.10/K3.1

Hi,

I made a patch against u-boot 2014.01 which will use the mx6qsabresd_config for the MatrixTv 2GB extension.

ATM the yocto kernel gives me a headache, after boot it stucks and after ~1min it gives me a kernel trace. This is not related to u-boot.

Re: How to boot from MicroSD/SD slot (?) - Ubuntu 13.10/K3.1

Hi,

to get ethernet working in u-boot you have look for CONFIG_FEC_MXC_PHYADDR in mx6sabre_common.h and change it from 1 to 4. For the linux kernel you need 3.14-rcx. If you want 3.10 you have to backbort the phyfixup for the ar8085, it is in mach-imx6q.c i think.
