Re: OpenELEC Beta 4.95.1

Now I see the problem. Funny thing ;) It paints only some part of the screen because algorithmdirtyregions is set to 1 (Union) in advancedsettings.xml to minimize cpu usage. If set to 3 (Whole Screen) then whole screen is repainted. That does the trick ... fixed. On Gotham I had different issue I t...

Re: OpenELEC Beta 4.95.1

Looking good ... just upgraded from the previous Gotham version (flashed in to and booting from eMMC) and no immediate problems - many, many thanks.

However, there's still a problem repainting the 'Home' screen when returning from System -> OpenELEC.

Re: Openelec for MatrixTBS

I think that you all misunderstand me - CEC works great on the TBS2910 - without that I'd be very disappointed. The problem comes when the TBS2910 is powered off while still attached to the rest of the system by HDMI - it prevents all the other equipment from communicating with each other. I have 3 ...

Re: Openelec for MatrixTBS

I guess that some people have a good reason to use the IR receiver? I have no interest since I find CEC much more convenient.

However, I do wonder whether the v2.1 hardware has overcome the problem of hanging the CEC line when the TBS2910 is not powered on.

Re: Openelec for MatrixTBS

So I MUST write u-boot to eMMC with Peter's instructions but in this thread , u-boot-matrix.imx is written on SD card, not on eMMC. See here: http://www.tbsdtv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=155&t=8859&start=130#p32126 If someone can summerize all operations, step by step, it would be great : 1 ...

Re: Openelec for MatrixTBS

Creating SD card the easy way using SD card image - eject SD card and put it in Matrix - boot Matrix and enjoy Could be that I miss something ... I think so! In order for the Matrix to boot the SD card, either you need to 'dd' the .imx file to emmc (my instructions in an earlier post), or (on a V2....

Re: Openelec for MatrixTBS

That doesn't appear to help very much! Actually it does. As you can see there is not address set even after sleep 3 sec. So it needs even longer time. Ah, true! So, between completion of the autostart script and the database opening, the network has sufficient time to come up completely, even with ...

Perhaps the simple act of finding and invoking autostart introduces sufficient delay? I'll do some tests.
