Fan control for Matrix / OpenELEC 5.95.5

Hi, the descriptions here about fan control are for me a little bit baffling. Is there anybody who could provide me a "cooking recipe" how to set the fan into operation? Is there a fan control for Matrix in OpenELEC at all? imx6-soc-fan-monitor.conf in .conf high=60 low=50 interval=30 debu...

Re: Boot problem

Nothing is secured. Then it could be a little bug!? And why do you need to change this value? It's easy, my LG TV produces a much better picture with 50Hz than with 60Hz. Additionally, the system sometimes forget's the system setting 50Hz (System/Settings/Video Output) after cold start. So I hoped ...

Boot problem

My matrix runs on internal flash with OpenELEC 5.95.5. If I connect to a running system a 64GB uSD card (exFAT) with directories and mp3 music files only, the card will be mounted and I can access the card. Then, if I boot the system, OpenElec does not start and after some seconds I get an error mes...

Re: How to boot OpenELEC from internal flash?

Why about installing OpenELEC as it supposed to do? With MfgTool to internal flash.

This was my question! But I don't know how (maybe forgotten). Is there a file for download with MfgTool AND OpenELec?

How to boot OpenELEC from internal flash?

Hi, I am running OpenELEC 5.95.5 successfully from a SD card on my Matrix. Now I am wondering if I can put the OS to the internal flash to free the SD slot. I'm familiar with the MfGTool and I know that the root file system for Matrix-TBS is in matrix_rootfs.tar.bz2. Can I exchange this file with an...

TV Video streaming with GUI Overlay ok now.

Since a long time I tried again the latest version OpenELEC 5.95.1 and found out, that the big problem with TV streaming (tremble and stutter) has gone with that version. Congratulations, vpeter! Now there is really hope again to get an useful system with OpenElec on the Matrix! Thanks!

Re: Unable to flash ubuntu 12.04

Don't underestimate me. My sat receiver is a VU+ Duo2 with enigma2 and it works fine, including jitter free video representation. And there is a very big software community who care for a mature software. What about TBS? Is this "great support" really an overcharged one man show?

Re: Unable to flash ubuntu 12.04

Development box? That's the advertising for the box (please note the last sentence): Matrix is a single board mini computer based on ARM with a wide range of interface, equipped with a powerful i.MX6 Freescale processor, it can run Android, Linux and other operating systems, a switch between ...
