Re: New TBS6925 can receive and demodulate 32APSK?

You said, that CX24117 + CX24132 is great combination of tuner and demodulator. yes, i like their performance on TBS 6980 - it's better than first generation of DVB-S2 chips. Did you mean that NIM module based on design from ST Microelectronics worse in 8PSK and QPSK? i haven't compared CX24117 + C...

Re: receiving high-band not possible

hi Peter, it's very easy to set Universal LNB in BlazeDTV or any other type of LNB: "BlazeDTV ---> Options ---> DTV ---> Scan... ---> Setup... ---> Setup..." and then choose "Ku-L Band" in case of Universal LNB. here is screenshot: http://thumbnails11.imagebam.com/8264/d19c418263...

Re: New TBS6925 can receive and demodulate 32APSK?

Many thanks, but on the photo of the 6925 i see big Connexant chip. I think it is demodulator. Am I right? What CX??? And what can you say about price of 6925? that Conexant chip is PCI-Express bridge chip and it has nothing to do with DVB-S2. the price will be higher, but still affordable, than ou...

Re: New TBS6925 can receive and demodulate 32APSK?

cody Tell me, please, what chips of tuner (under radiator) and demodulator (I can't see it on 6925-1.jpg) are in TBS6925 comparing with 69xx and 89xx? TBS 6925 uses NIM module based on design from ST Microelectronics for professional users that need 16APSK/32APSK support and incorporated their &quo...

Re: Some questions about the 6980 card?

i'm not sure that i understand - you tried version 1.0.0.15 of the driver and you now can receive the transponder, but you are getting DC errors and some files are broken? if so, maybe, your signal is not strong enough or you are just trying to get too much data ( too many PIDs) and you can improve ...

Re: My first S2 signal with my TBS6980

Re: Tuner Card TBS8920???

8920 card can work in Linux. We have Linux kernel2.6.32 driver for TBS8920 card in the driver CD. just to add that this driver is not explicitly for Linux kernel version 2.6.32 and the name is kind of misleading - it was made to fix a problem with Linux kernel version 2.6.32, but other than that it...

Re: New TBS6925 can receive and demodulate 32APSK?

hi, TBS 6925 is one of our upcoming new products and we will test it very soon in practice in Europe on all available 16APSK/32APSK transponders there like the one you mentioned on Hotbird 13E, but at least so far on our tests with signal generator it can lock stable both 16APSK and 32APSK. after we...
