Re: Trouble with high speed transponders. SR 28000-30000

please, try this test driver: http://www.basicupload.com/t9br0ve05cgm and report back your results. if it doesn't help it could be your motherboard can't handle such data-rate and the solution then would be to optimize transfer buffers in the driver to compensate for your motherboard performance iss...

Re: Signal measurements with the TBS8922

hello, what you get is the normal behaviour, i.e. 8922 outputs "snr 014a | ber 03ffffff" when there is no signal lock, i.e. it outputs the maximum BER and the maximum SNR (of 33 dB or 0x14a) to indicate there is no signal lock, because basically those maximum values are unreachable in prac...

Re: Kernel oops when running tvheadend

does it work with other application than tvheadend like 'szap-s2' and 'scan-s2' included in the driver package? have you tested the box in other Linux installation. there are no any other similar complains and thus the only other thing i can suggest is to clean all DVB drivers from your installation...

Re: tbs6981 problem with skynet

Mick i replied to you on your email to [email protected].com. let's proceed discussing there, because it's highly unlikely to get something useful in a forum, when the problem you have is completely specific and isolated case - there are no any other users that have complained to anything even sim...

Re: How to watch encrypted TV channels?

Hello, the driver doesn't work unstable, because we have professional IPTV service providers as customers that use 6991 for decrypting with the CI as well i've never seen until now the error message: error: en50221: cannot read from CAM device (-1:Resource temporarily unavailable) anyway, what i see...

Re: Problem with signal strength

Hi, if your 5680 box is new, i.e. you haven't used it before and thus it has never worked good for you then most likely it's just faulty device that slipped thought QA. however, one other less likely option is that your DVB-C signal is too strong and you need to use attenuator or better call cable p...

Re: Driver issue using kernel 3.6.2

hmm, in your log those messages: "dtv_property_legacy_params_sync: doesn't know how to handle a DVBv3 call to delivery system 70" look very suspicious. so, please, try the following: # rm -rf /lib/modules/<kernel_version>/kernel/drivers/media/ where "<kernel_version>" is specific...

Re: How to watch encrypted TV channels?

Hi, if you lock not encrypted channel with DVBlast or other application does it work? i'm asking, because from your lock it seems to me like you get lock, but no data from the card and that i guess happens, because of the following error message: error: en50221: cannot read from CAM device (-1:Resou...
