spookybird (or anyone!) - how did you handle the fwd/rewind/pause/play feature in that config?
my 6981 remote does not have such features...

well thats good news.
i'd like things to be fully working for mythtv 0.25 (a while off i think though), and i believe it will need a later kernel (as that in *buntu 11.04)

i cant help with your exact issues, but for me, it was a case of the following: install mythbuntu 10.10 (2.6.35-22 kernel) configure LIRC for the mceusb device during the mythbuntu install disable ubuntu repos (without updates; if you do update, ensure the linux kernel headers are NOT being updated)...
