There is no known DiSEqC issue with MediaPortal for TBS6984. From our testing, it's working with MediaPortal correctly.

Hi,

This problem was reported by some UK user to our support email and it turned out to be the driver issue of AMD/ATI
5670 display adapter. If you have the same problem, please try to update your display adapter driver or try another display adapter to distinguish the problem.

TBS6981 and 6980 use exactly the same NXP/Trident CX24132+CX24117 tuner chips and CX23885 PCIe bridge chip. The difference is that TBS6981 use optimized PCB layout and circuit scheme.
