can you recorder this TP's ts stream for us to do more analyses? please do not insert cam when you recorder it.
maybe you can use hotfile to update a big file.

it is very useful if you can provide some log information to us.
please update TbsCIapi.dll under dvbdream with the attached file. then change channels between encrypted programs.
please send the log file in C:\tbsCI.log to me.

from my test,tbs5980 support viaccess card well.
now,in order to find the problem, we have to do more about it. i believe your smart card is no problem and has been authorized,can you decrypt the programs with it under a STB?

My TV Philips 46PFL5606 has delay for AC3 synchronization about 1-2 sec

maybe it is the problem, sound and video are not synchronized.
dvb card display more serious than TV.

do you use LNB low 9750 ,high 10600, switch 11700?
since it can be locked,i think the driver is no problem.
from my point,this transponder is not special. how about other transponders around 12073?
please help to lock and analyse it with transEdit.it would be more clear than TSReader.

yes,it's not exactly MDAPI plugin,but also similar plugin.
until now we have dvbdream and tbsViewer support ci function.
for tbs5980,you can visit:

download the latest TBSview-setupV20110328 and DVBDream V1.5f,both of them can support 5980 ci.
