according to:
http://www.lyngsat.com/staronec2.htmlsymbol rate is 29890 and not 29900 - it's very small difference and i doubt it will make any difference and help, but please try with 29890 kSps.
if that didn't help, i believe it's better to send your card back to us for further diagnostics and investigation. so, please, also send an e-mail to
[email protected] to discuss the details.

more info, see if it can help..
well, after you send me that driver 1.0.4.1 and a several times of scaning and scaning again and again o get signal from others TPs BUT, only for a few minutes, sometimes seconds, when they get signal Q=~80% for DVB-S TPs and DVB-S2's Q=~80% for 12160 V, Q=~50% for 12020 V these two are really unstable, signal come and go thounsands times in less than a minute ...
and because of that (i guess) any program stop working and win closes it ..
THEN
i install the newest driver again (1.0.5.3) to see if really was it (hoping to be something on driver), but for my surprise still working how a described above ..
**yes, rebooted my pc many times
now, the curiosity ..
when the 8920 tunes TPs > 11170 V takes more time to tunning back TPs < 11170 (when it works at first, otherwise i have to selecting several times TPs < 11170 to get work) and vice-versa ...
now u tell me, back maybe to the driver problem ??

it's good that you found a solution for the problem. i believe the only possible explanation for the problem is that your other PCI slot doesn't provide enough power for TBS 8920 to work good.
