No channels found in Windows 7 64bit

No channels found in Windows 7 64bit

Postby twosheds » Sat Jan 10, 2015 5:57 am

My TBS 8920 works perfectly on my PC with DVBViewer when I boot int 32bit Windows 7 but fails to find any channels when I boot up my system in Windows 7 64bit. I've downloaded the latest Windows drivers from this site ( 1.0.6.3) and installed them on both versions of Windows. I make no changes to any hardware between booting into 32bit and booting into 64bit. All the signs point to a problem with the 64bit version of the driver. Can anyone shed any light on my problem ?

Thanks in advance.

I ( with Steven's help) have managed to get this working. Steven supplied modified drivers ( dated 21 January 2015) which didn't work at first. I decided to uninstall the 3 drivers identified in Device manager that were associated with the TBS8920 and then did a hardware scan. Windows re-installed all 3 drivers and the TBS8920 began working normally :D

Steven,

I've updated my 64 bit Windows 7 to Windows 10 but, using the same drivers, the colours in the video are oversaturated whereas they are natural looking in Windows 7. I've tried DVBViewer & ProgDVB with and withour LAV filters but adjusting the colour, brightness, contrast & Hue settings makes no difference. If I record video in DVBViewer and play it back in DVBViewer it is still oversaturated but if I play it back with VLC the colours appear normal. Can you suggest where the problem might be ?
