"Starting" QBoxS2

I am just trying to install a QBoxS2 in Vista. I have managed to install the drivers, and the QBox appears in Device Manager.

I have tried TBSViewer, which doesn't see the QBox as a current device.

So I tried DVB Dream, which does recognise the QBox. I set the satellite to Astra 2 ABD / Eurobird 2 28.5 E (which, I understand, is the appropriate source for Freesat in the UK, and which I think my TV box is working on) and plugged in the dish: the scan found no channels. Then I looked at Options-Device; the BDA interface showed, with TBS QBOX DVB S-2 Tuner showing in the Device box; there is also a "Start" button, which I clicked. Nothing seemed to happen, and scanning again yielded no results.

I have also downloaded ProgDVB 6, which reports BDA (TBS QBOX DVB S-2 Tuner) Device not started. I can't see how to "start" it!

Does anyone have any ideas?
