My dish is OK as I also run a Freesat box from it on a dual lnb which is recieving them ok after a retune.
Please can you help.

Yes i know pain in the arse! Simply go into your wmp/tasks/tv setup/single transponder set up and type in Frequency 10847 , symbol rate 23 and vertical polarity then rescan should sort it.

Thanks for the guide.
alas this didn't do it. Realy don't understand why i'm having a problem. The reciever has been great up to this change from the BBC.
Used Fast Satfinder to check my signal on the 10847 Freq which reports 97 Strength and 83 quality.
Am at a total loss as this effects is in both WMC and TBSviewer.
Perhaps there's a driver issue?

Any body help

This is a real pain!!!

I have a TBS 8920 PCI card with the latest driver installed. I use DVBViewer as my viewer and I am now unable to watch either of BBC HD or BBC ONE HD. As I understand it my card supports DVB S2 so why does it not allow me to see either of the BBC HD Channels. Please can somebody help before I am left hairless and injure somebody outside with a flying PCI card. Doing a frequency search does not help and the information provided by the BBC is no better than useless!!

Also meant to say Freesat are singularly unhelpful.

Thank you steven

Have since re-installed the driver and had success recieving BBCHD/BBC1HD with WMC but no luck with TBSViewer.
Note: Qbox fails to lock. No Green LED
Changing to the new BBC S2 from standard S service is very very slow

Again thank you for help.

Hi again sorry you seem to still have problems i have the 6981dual tuner card when the problem occured i first tried setting up wmc again doing a standard tv set up then a full transponder scan then a single transponder scan using the settings previously stated . My set up is now working fine again with no problems , maybe it was a combination of all these things . My desktop is nothing special but is newish with windows7. I hope this helps , good luck!

Here is the fix if you are using DVBViewer.

Search for and Edit the 0282.ini files and change the existing 10847 line to

10=10847,V,23000,89,5,|BSkyB, BBC HD

This includes the new parameters 23000, 89, and 5.

A rescan should now find the files.

This was suggested to me by a friend and it worked great.
