problems building driver module for kernel 3.0(Solved)

Postby Archfer » Wed Dec 28, 2011 12:34 am

Hi

I am trying to get my Qbox S2 to work with my Mythtv 11.10 box but following the instructions when I get to II.3 Build and install the driver: make && make install - I get the following error message:

make[3]: *** No rule to make target `/etc/tbs/linux-tbs-drivers/v4l/tbs8921ctrl.o', needed by `/etc/tbs/linux-tbs-drivers/v4l/media.o'. Stop.

Does this indicate that the object file tbs8921ctrl.o is missing from the build directory?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Fixed this problem. Too many source zip files with similar names!
