HELP-TBS6985+Oscam+Phoenix+Card+Dvblast-or-mumudvb-HELP

Postby nightshadow36 » Sun Oct 19, 2014 4:08 am

Hi.
I have been trying to do this for a month now and it is driving me crazy, if possible I would like to have some remote support if anybody is willing to help. Or any help what so ever.
I have tried contacting TBS support directly but they said they are unable to provide cardsharing support, I am only trying to get everything working and I have a legit card I am not looking to share my card only stream within my house using my valid card.

1 x TBS6985
1 x Paid for subscription card 12 months subscription.
1 x ubuntu running Oscam
1 x phoenix card reader

I have managed to stream the fta channels with no problem.
What i am trying to do is stream the scrambled channels - I have a legit card so i am trying to get dvblast or mumudvb to work with my card.
I have never used linux before so it been very hard getting this far - I have managed to get working...

Ubuntu
Tbs6985 drivers
Dvblast streaming fta channels
Oscam
Also I have oscam working with the phoenix card reader. On the reader it shows CARDOK (1 entitlement)

Now the part that is driving me crazy how can i get this all to work so i can stream the scrambled channels using dvblast or mumudvb?
Is it even possible? Can some one please help.
Thank you.

Your problems related to cardreader + oscam. Maybe tricky or unsupported CAS.

Anyway this not related to DVB card.

if you would have the patience and the will to google a bit around .
noticing you are familiar with oscam and entitlements and other stuff.

with dvblast not possible.
with mumudvb is possible but you will need to compile your own mumudvb with dvbcsa support and scam support.
Just google around you will find all you need to do this.

As crazycat said this is dvb card support forum not DVB to ip solution provider forum

Hello again.

With some help i have managed to almost get everything working

I have.....

Ubuntu
OScam
Phoenix card reader

with mumudvb i get this... now fully unscrambled (0% of scrambled packets). Card 0

but when i play the stream in vlc i can see the bar going across showing the stream is working, but i have no picture or sound.
I have tried vlc on a linux and windows machine, but still no sound or picture.

At fist i saw a picture but it did not move now just black.
Thank you.

I reply to my own post.

Everything is working now. I added autoconfiguration=1
My cpu is a bit high - i read that ffdecsa is alot faster and uses less cpu than libdvbcsa

I know this is not a dvb to IPTV forum but if i can get this working I will be buying more tbs6985 cards.
Everything works together and without support its a complete nightmare to some one new to linux and IPTV.

Has any one here used ffdecsa is it faster, and does it use less cpu? Is it hard to get working?
Thank you.
