Hmm, so two weeks later and I haven't even got an answer to the simple question "What does the blue light do?" so I don't hold out much hope that the 'no signal' problem will be addressed any time soon. 'bobi' from the thread below has been waiting six months!! Meanwhile the 5220 gathers dust. Is there anybody out there?...

Hi,
I hope you get your signal problem resolved already. I use my tbs5220 with dvb-c drivers "tbs5220-dvb-c-windows-driver_v1.0.0.6" and all work well.
The blue light turns on when I plug the usb and when I have one channel running.
I use ProgDvb Pro 32bits latest version, registered user.
I didn't test it with dvb-t drivers but if you have some doubt I can test it.
