6982 Dual Cards possible ?

I also have a dvbsky s952 which has been working great for 2 years under tvheadend
My problem is that I dont seem to be able to use both cards at once. I can have 2 channels on either card, but if I plug in the other card, just channel 0 works on the TBS and the other channels have no signal.
As soon as I take one card out, the other card works again ( after powering back on ).
Is there a way to make the TBS work with a different make of card ?
