Hi
New to having recompile drivers for Linux, after doing an update I have gone through the install routine, but the driver seem not to load. I have a TBS6982 and the kernel I just installed is 3.2.0-55-generic.

Is there an FAQ on how to update the drivers for a new kernel? dmesg | grep frontend and dmesg | grep firmware show nothing?
Any help very welcome, I am beyond my depth.

If you update your kernel you must reinstall the TBS drivers

Thanks for the reply.
That is what I did do, I went through the install procedure, but they failed to install ? I did see something flash by about 3.2.0-54 which was the old kernel version? Really go no idea on what to do now. Any help most welcome.

sudo make distclean

Then start over with the install inductions
