Hi petwri.
Can you try adding -5 option on scan?
something like
Code: Select All Code
scan-s2 -a 1 -5 -v file

Kind regards.

Hi, thanks for trying to help. There you go:

Code: Select All Code
main@htpc:~$ scan-s2 -a 1 -5 file -v

using '/dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter1/demux0'

Can you run "femon -H -a 1" and try scan again. Post femon output.

Kind regards.

Femon gives

Code: Select All Code
FE: TurboSight TBS 6928SE DVBS/S2 frontend (DVBS)
status       | signal  45% | snr 100% | ber 0 | unc 0 |
status       | signal  46% | snr 100% | ber 0 | unc 0 |
status       | signal  45% | snr 100% | ber 0 | unc 0 |

Where the line keeps repeating with a signal of 44-47%.

If you have not solved this yet, you may need to recompile/reinstall your drivers.

01:00.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7160 (rev 03)
Subsystem: Device 6928:0002
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 16
Memory at df200000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=1M]
Capabilities: <access denied>
Kernel driver in use: SAA716x TBS

should probably look like this
Capabilities: <access denied>
Kernel driver in use: SAA716x TBS
Kernel modules: saa716x_tbs_dvb

You might want to go back to your logs and check for errors such as wrong symbol versions as it looks like the module may not have loaded.
