LibreELEC (Krypton) v7.90.008: http://vpeter.libreelec.tv/imx6-solidru ... r-3.14.tar

Tested with Matrix v1.2 and v2.1. Both working fine (at least for me).
@buddyrm: can you try this version?

Vpeter, this version still does not work for video playback. But I noticed that this is version 1.3 and NOT 1.2 or 2.1. Would that be the issue? See attachement

I see no reason why v1.3 would not work if older and newer revision works. It would be nice to get some manufacturer support but this would probably be too much

Maybe your hw is just broken? ;)

I can not see how it is broken. the old install works and I have been using it for over a year. It's just when playing video, the unit start playing but I only get the play bar on the bottom and a few seconds later it crashes. Definitely a video driver issue with the V1.3. :-(

I would like to play around in the OS with video drivers but I need to know where to find them or at least know how to update the KODI version to see if it is there the problem. Can you send me some quick instructions. I would love to help out.

Thank I will follow it up. Just a quick note. This version 1.3 has the video GPU Vivante GC2000. What does the 1.2 and 2.1 have?

Is it possible to build the version with SSH and SAMBA enabled? At least I can then access openelec. The OPenelec configuration addon is not working in the release you made. Previous version I was able to get it enabled through the first boot after install. Not this version.

I would assume both have GC2000 because they are based on i.MX6 Dual/Quad. Just like Udoo system and solidrun's cuboxi on which this image works fine.
Only i.MX6 Solo/Dual Lite has GC880. And I doubt tbs would use first one type of soc, then another and later switched back.
