As i said also to Steven .

All the credits for this almost succesfull porting Openelec belong to Vpeter.
There was a lot of hard work mixed with frustration , lack of some sources , testing building and testing and building again.

But now we are very close to have an 98% operational Matrix Elec.
There several things to do (adding addons for backend and frontend ) support for TBS tuners and so on.

Steven will officialy make a release after he decides if everything going ok.

Regards

ovi

Yes, there is nice progress.

steven, I have a question for you. I have Matrix v1 and I'm wondering if buttons for volume and power should work? I'm mainly interested in power button to shutdown the box. For xbmc I fixed shutdown/reboot but would like to have discrete button working also.

Hi vpeter

For Matrix V1 version there button works in Android, For V1 version we have already add the shutdown and reboot function, but the shutdown is not the fully power off because
of the hardware. : (

Thanks

I understand that the system doesn't shutdown fully. But I just tested MatrixTV V1.0.0.8 and buttons doesn't work there. I assume they work only on Android. Any idea what should I do to work in MatrixTV - actually in OpenELEC :) I see that there are some things in linux kernel but seems something is still missing or something is wrong.
