@vpeter:
I am still comparing the performance of OE 5.0.2 on my Pi/Pi2 (Raspberry Pi) and on the Matrix. What I found is a menu point in the Pi which limits the update of the overlays during video playback (/settings/video/acceleration/limit GUI updates when playing video). The value is 10 fps for the Pi. If I have a look to the cpu usage during video playback ("O"), the value W_fps (lowest line) is indeed always <10 fps on the Pis and the video reproduction is excellent. The Matrix does not have this menu point and I can see a much more bigger value between 25 and 41 fps, depending on the video. This means that the fps of the overlay update is proportional to the fps of the video! So I would like to ask if this could be the reason for the bad performance of the Matrix on video playback. Your kind answer would be appreciated.
BTW: I have evaluated your last Gotham build from 22.12.2014 again and I'm really wondering that all reproduction issues are gone with that version.
