Hi,

I've installed latest version of OpenElec 5.0 for Matrix PC (my HW version is V1.3) few time and I have a lot of troubles. Again and again after fresh installation Openelec is frozen and not possible do nothing, only unplug a DC power . After start of system..Openelec is frozen again.
For a reinstallation I used a MfgTool2-reinstall.bat script. I also tried to use update script but didn't work.
During installation and also after a start of system is connected to matrix pc only usb keyboard and power.
Latest official release (13.2 Gotham) downloaded from tbsddtv homepage working fine.

At the moment I can say that Openelec 5.0 is not usable for matrix pc

Do you have any idea how I can fix, install new version of Openelec?

I'm really hoping this is not true for all matrixes out there and only yours doesn't work as it should.

yea, also me. I don't understand why is not working. Is there any way how I can try to update system from 13.2 to Openelec 5.0? Via SD card ... is a missing files for update and also update instruction is not very clear.

MatrixTV and OpenELEC are two different distributions. You wipe one and install another - there is no upgrade.

To install OpenELEC you just need to click MfgTool2-reinstall.bat in folder MfgTool2-TBS-Matrix.

Version 5 is working great for me, other than HD Audio passthrough which stutters.

I used to MfgTool2-reinstall.bat for a fresh installation of Openelec 5.0 but as I wrote after few secon system totaly frozen. How I can investigate the mentioned issue? Where I can find a log?

When does it freeze? Installing or running?

If you have serial console you can check there for any clues.

after running, installation is finished without any errors.

I install Openelec 5.0.0. to my TBS2910 V1.3 .
Install process completed succesfully. No Errors. Install with MfgTool2-reinstall.bat
Starting OpenELEC 5.0.0. and about 5-10 Sec. freeze.
No keyboard, no mouse, no UART log.

Install and running process logged with PUTTY.

Please fix Openelec 5.0.0. for TBS2910 V1.3 .

Sorry for my bad english

bzoli72, can you open file on your computer 3rdparty\bootloader\uEnv-matrix.txt and replace string quiet with progress debugging. Then reinstall openelec and send me start log from putty when openelec boots.

I will also try on mine matrix. Normally I'm using v2.1.
